2016 was an exciting year for me.  My name is Chuck Stabenfeldt.  I'm a local business owner in Waukesha, WI of DisVet Enterprises Inc.  We've been in business since 1984 and we supply the beer industry with high quality golf bags, equipment, apparel and accessories.  My excitement is, last year we started the "Stabenfeldt Family Charitable Foundation Inc", a 501(c)3 approved organization.  I always dreamed of doing this, so we tested having a golf outing. 

Here's what happened:  The outing was held July 25, 2016, at Edgewood Golf Course in Big  Bend, WI; which included a continental breakfast - free beer & soda - driving range - contests - great silent auction items - and a fabulous Texas BBQ (brisket, cole slaw, potato salad, ranch beans, & corn bread) all for $ 125 per person.  Oh, did I mention the best part was just having fun and all the money raised went to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, a foundation that's on the cutting edge of spinal cord research.  Being a paraplegic for over 40 years I have been a long term supporter of the Reeve Foundation.  Did I mention for year #1 we had 96 golfers, 110 for BBQ and that we raised $17,500.  Pretty darn good for the first year!
